- Shouldn't week 6's topic of Bases and Linear Independence be split up into two different topics of Bases and Linear Independence? Bases require knowledge of Linear Independence and Dimension; or within week 5 which follows week 6 The Dimension of a Subspace.
Questions
- Does this class introduce the concept of functions forming vector spaces? As an example polynomials or trig polynomials. This goes into the prereq of MAT 3613 DE which requires knowledge of Linear Independence of Vectors, but only for vector spaces within R^n
